Laura Ilardi Pearson
Ms. Pearson’s civil litigation practice includes contract disputes, construction defect matters, mechanic’s liens, real estate, governmental entities, and employment. She represents clients in all stages of litigation before state courts, federal courts, and administrative law judges. Based upon her experience in real estate litigation, she also regularly handles real estate transactional matters for her clients, including contract drafting, commercial lease negotiations, and title reviews.
Prior to joining Hall & Evans, Ms. Pearson was a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Labor, representing the Mine Safety and Health Administration in contests of civil penalties related to the Federal Mine Health and Safety Act of 1977. Ms. Pearson also served as a Deputy District Attorney for the 21st Judicial District in Grand Junction, Colorado where she tried numerous cases before juries and the bench. Prior to that, Ms. Pearson represented clients in commercial litigation matters in a variety of practice areas as an attorney at a private firm.
