Marcella Alvarez Morgan

Senior Associate

Marcella Alvarez Morgan has a broad range of civil litigation experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurers. Ms. Morgan’s practice includes premises liability, construction, trucking, employment, and environmental matters. She is also experienced with commercial real estate, business transactions, trademark, and copyright matters.

Prior to joining Hall & Evans, Ms. Morgan was a litigator at firms in Albuquerque, NM and Boston, MA. While attending Northeastern University School of law, she served as an intern with a global financial services company, a real estate investment trust company, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, and a legal aid foundation. Ms. Morgan is licensed in New Mexico, Massachusetts, and Texas.

Ciara N. Kimminau

Senior Associate

Ciara Kimminau’s practice is focused on labor and employment law and public entity matters. She is also experienced in handling business disputes involving contracts and property.

While attending the University of Colorado Law School, Ms. Kimminau was an ACLU Student Bar Association Representative, a volunteer for the “I Have a Dream” foundation, and the recipient of numerous scholarships. Ms. Kimminau began her career at the Colorado Civil Rights Division handling employment, housing, and public accommodation discrimination. Since moving to private practice, she has focused on employment and commercial business litigation at small firms in Denver.

Aaron C. Garrett

Senior Associate

Aaron Garrett’s practice includes business transactional work, complex commercial litigation, employment law, premises liability, and construction defect matters.  Mr. Garrett frequently represents nonprofits in the areas of formation, obtaining tax exemption, legal compliance, contracts, and other transactions.

Previously, Mr. Garrett co-founded a boutique law firm, and a nonprofit legal services firm based in Salt Lake City. He also served as a trust specialist for the Utah State Board of Education.

Miranda R. Kennedy

Associate

Miranda Kennedy joined Hall & Evans, LLC as an Associate in 2024.  Her practice involves general civil litigation, business litigation, and medical malpractice defense in the state and federal courts of Nevada.

While attending Gonzaga University School of Law, Ms. Kennedy was an associate editor and a vested member of the Gonzaga Law Review.  She also was an intern with the school’s Intellectual Property and Business Innovation Clinics and clerked with several civil and appellate law firms in Spokane, WA and Las Vegas, NV.

Ms. Kennedy graduated cum laude from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/International Business and minors in Spanish and Violin Performance.
