Jamie E. Chavez

Associate

Jamie Chavez’s practice focuses on the defense of healthcare professionals and facilities in Colorado.

Prior to joining Hall & Evans, Ms. Chavez was an Associate Deputy District Attorney in Denver, CO. She gained extensive trial experience and managed a criminal docket with involving felonies and misdemeanors. She was selected to serve in the Family Violence Unit, Domestic Violence Unit, and Juvenile Unit.

Ms. Chavez earned her JD and a certificate in International Law from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. During law school, she competed on the National Mock Trial Team and was the Submissions Editor for the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal. She also interned with the Office of the Nevada Attorney General and the Office of the District Attorney in Colorado’s 2nd Judicial District.

Ms. Chavez graduated cum laude from Utah State University with dual bachelor’s degrees in international business and law and Constitutional studies. While completing her undergrad, she was a Legal Intern with the Office of the District Attorney in Nevada’s 2nd Judicial District and was a Legal Researcher with the First District Court in Utah.

Kelsie L. Nolan

Associate

Kelsie Nolan provides civil litigation defense across Montana and Wyoming. She represents clients in a broad range of matters, including transportation and trucking litigation, products liability, premises liability, personal injury, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, and other complex tort matters.

Before joining Hall & Evans, Ms. Nolan developed a civil defense practice representing businesses, insurers, and other clients in litigation spanning a diverse range of disputes. She received her JD from Gonzaga University School of Law after serving as a judicial extern to the Honorable John O. Cooney of the Spokane Superior Court. Her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas included minors in neuroscience, biology, psychology, and chemistry. Her interdisciplinary background in law and the sciences informs her approach to cases involving technical, medical, and scientific issues.

Rachel H. Parkin

Rachel Parkin’s practice is focused on complex civil litigation, including insurance coverage and civil defense.  Ms. Parkin represents insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation and insureds in claims of all kinds. She often handles trucking, premises liability, employment, professional liability, and real estate throughout Montana. She is highly regarded for her legal writing and appellate advocacy.

Prior to joining Hall & Evans, Ms. Parkin was a shareholder at Milodragovich, Dale & Steinbrenner. Before her legal career, she was an adjunct instructor at Kansas State University and a youth librarian in a large public library system.

Tad J. Quinn

Tad Quinn represents individuals and business in Montana with matters involving product liability, transportation, premises liability, insurance defense, professional liability, and employment law.

Prior to joining Hall & Evans, Mr. Quinn was a JAG attorney with the United States Navy JAG Corps in Washington, DC. With five years of experience in federal court, Mr. Quinn has developed a foundation in complex trial practice and high-stakes courtroom advocacy. He successfully managed all phases of federal litigation, from navigating intricate procedural motions to delivering compelling arguments before the court.

While attending the University of California, Davis School of Law, Mr. Quinn was a government affairs graduate intern with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District where he advocated for renewable energy. Mr. Quinn graduated summa cum laude from Campbell University with a bachelor’s in political science. Before his legal career, Mr. Quinn served in the United States Army Special Operations Command as a Flight Engineer.

Bill Tatom

Associate

Bill Tatom is an Associate in the Hall & Evans Chicago office. His practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on health care matters, premises liability, and insurance defense.  Mr. Tatom defends health care providers, long-term care facilities, and local businesses facing litigation. His experience also includes defending matters involving commercial litigation, construction defects, breach of contract, fraudulent misrepresentation, warranty of habitability, property disputes, and product liability claims.

Mr. Tatom’s practice also includes he defense of correctional healthcare providers in medical and civil rights claims.

Mr. Tatom earned his JD from the University of Houston Law Center and was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship and the Buck J. Wynne Memorial Scholarship.  Before his legal career, Mr. Tatom spent eight years teaching U.S. History and English.
