Marcella Alvarez Morgan has a broad range of civil litigation experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurers. Ms. Morgan’s practice includes premises liability, construction, trucking, employment, and environmental matters. She is also experienced with commercial real estate, business transactions, trademark, and copyright matters.

Prior to joining Hall & Evans, Ms. Morgan was a litigator at firms in Albuquerque, NM and Boston, MA. While attending Northeastern University School of law, she served as an intern with a global financial services company, a real estate investment trust company, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, and a legal aid foundation. Ms. Morgan is licensed in New Mexico, Massachusetts, and Texas.

Liz Leibsle

Associate

Liz Leibsle defends individuals and businesses in general liability, premises liability, and transportation litigation. She is also experienced with complex immigration matters and real estate transactions.

Ms. Leibsle’s immigration practice includes representing employers and their employees seeking permanent residence and citizenship through the PERM labor certification process and representing clients before USCIS and other immigration agencies on employment-based immigration matters including H-1B, L-1, E-1, R-1, and related applications.

In the real estate arena, she is experienced in negotiating letters of intent, leases, and contracts to buy and sell along with managing due diligence processes with finance, legal, architecture, and construction teams. Previously, Ms. Leibsle was a commercial broker at a Denver based commercial real estate brokerage.

Before her legal career, Ms. Leibsle served in the Peace Corps in Honduras where she led the formation of savings and loan cooperatives for small-scale farmers and taught basic business skills to local women.

Geoffrey T. Cunningham

Senior Associate

Geoffrey Cunningham’s litigation practice includes premises liability, construction defect, employment law, real estate litigation, HOA litigation, probate litigation, business litigation, and appellate work. He also represents insurers with bad faith and coverage matters.

Before joining Hall & Evans, Mr. Cunningham practiced insurance defense, criminal defense, corporate litigation, and family law in both Montana state and Federal District Court at a small firm in Billings, MT. Additionally, the broad nature of his practice included regular appellate cases at the Montana Supreme Court.

Mr. Cunningham is a Billings native who attended Billings Central Catholic High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Montana State University. After graduating from the University of Wyoming College of Law, he returned to his hometown to begin his career as a litigator. He is licensed in Montana and Wyoming.

Samuel M. McCarty

Mr. McCarty joined Hall & Evans, LLC in 2024 as an Associate. Currently, his practice is primarily composed of Construction & Design and Real Estate Litigation. Mr. McCarty typically represents developers, contractors, and design professionals, including both architects and engineers.

While attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, he was a teaching assistant and peer mentor. In addition, Mr. McCarty worked for the Hon. Judge John Wheeler of the 18th Judicial District.

Omar Nagy

Senior Associate

Omar Nagy’s litigation experience includes insurance defense, premises liability, real estate related disputes, contract disputes, construction defect, general liability, and bankruptcy matters. Omar’s focus is on transactional law where he represents clients with drafting and negotiating various types of business contracts; banking, where he provides opinion letters, drafts loan documents, and UCCs, and reviews title reports;  real estate, where he drafts letters of intent, purchase sale agreements, and leases; merger and acquisition matters, where he helps clients with getting the appropriate corporate documents in place, draft purchase-sale agreements, draft reps and warranties, negotiate the purchase-sale agreements; and setting up corporate entities along with drafting the appropriate corporate documents.

Prior to attending law school, Omar was a commercial real estate banker for seventeen years. He financed commercial real estate projects in Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona, and Washington. While serving as a special assets officer of a regional bank, Omar got more involved in the risk assessment side of banking during which time he was in constant communication with clients and attorneys to minimize losses. While he was successful in his previous career, Omar felt that his calling was more toward the legal side of banking and finance and attended the William S. Boyd School of Law.
