Benton Barton will update his annual risk management presentation for design professionals on Monday, May 10th at 1:00 pm. This year’s program is titled “Is the Worst Really Over? Designing New Opportunities In 2021.″ Roseanne DeBellis, a Divisional Assistant Vice President with Great American Insurance Group’s Professional Liability Division, will be co-presenting. 2020 was a year that brought changes and challenges to all of us, and forced an on-the-fly rethinking of our daily routines. Design professionals were specifically impacted by lockdowns and stalls, while trying to keep projects on track. This presentation will discuss claim trends, contract provisions, pandemic impacts, and ways to recognize and minimize risk in your design and consulting practice going forward.
