Each Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Hall & Evans, LLC encourages all employees to make it “a day on, not a day off,” by volunteering with organizations throughout our community. This year, attorneys and staff volunteered with Project Valentine, A Little Help, Urban Peak, Project C.U.R.E., and the Tennyson Center for Children.

We hosted two valentine crafting activities in our Denver office, one for Project Valentine, making valentines for gift bags that are delivered to local cancer treatment centers on Valentine’s Day, and another for A Little Help, by making valentines and goodie bags for senior citizens. Outside of the office, we cooked and served breakfast at the Denver homeless youth shelter, Urban Peak, and we sorted donated medical supplies that are delivered to more than 130 developing countries from Project C.U.R.E. We also spent the day reading to kids and making crafts at the Tennyson Center for Children.
