Omar Nagy

Senior Associate

Omar Nagy’s litigation experience includes insurance defense, premises liability, real estate related disputes, contract disputes, construction defect, general liability, and bankruptcy matters. Omar’s focus is on transactional law where he represents clients with drafting and negotiating various types of business contracts; banking, where he provides opinion letters, drafts loan documents, and UCCs, and reviews title reports;  real estate, where he drafts letters of intent, purchase sale agreements, and leases; merger and acquisition matters, where he helps clients with getting the appropriate corporate documents in place, draft purchase-sale agreements, draft reps and warranties, negotiate the purchase-sale agreements; and setting up corporate entities along with drafting the appropriate corporate documents.

Prior to attending law school, Omar was a commercial real estate banker for seventeen years. He financed commercial real estate projects in Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona, and Washington. While serving as a special assets officer of a regional bank, Omar got more involved in the risk assessment side of banking during which time he was in constant communication with clients and attorneys to minimize losses. While he was successful in his previous career, Omar felt that his calling was more toward the legal side of banking and finance and attended the William S. Boyd School of Law.
