Benton Barton, Lucas Myers, Theresa Vogel, and Ethan Zweig will present at the tenth annual Risk Control Seminar for Architects, Engineers, and Environmental Professionals at the Coors Field Conference Center on Thursday, June 12th.
Our team will lead two interactive discussions tailored towards design and environmental professionals. The first session will outline repetitive claim situations and talk about real claims on actual projects that provide opportunities to take away lessons such as inadequate front-end risk management strategies in project pursuit, unclear contract provisions, insurance gaps, schedule delays, cost overruns, RFI and change order abuse, and force majeure. The second session will focus on cutting-edge concerns that now, or will soon, affect design firms, consultants, and their projects, including risks from green design, using AI, climate change, evolving governmental policies, immigration, and nuclear verdicts. Continuing education credit will be offered.
This seminar was first conceived in 2014 and is hosted by Van Oppen & Co. 2, powered by Inszone Insurance Services. Before and after the seminar, we will enjoy food, drinks, networking opportunities, and an afternoon ballgame in the Coors Field Summer Suite watching the Colorado Rockies v. San Francisco Giants.
