Serena Gudino volunteered at the American General Contractors of Colorado (AGC) Future Leaders Forum’s Annual Sporting Clay Shoot at the Kiowa Creek Sporting Club.  The event drew over 300 construction professionals, including general contractors, subcontractors, subtrades, and design professionals, along with suppliers.

Despite recovering from a ruptured Achilles, Serena used this opportunity to engage with folks regarding construction issues commonly faced by professionals in the industry today. When not discussing legal issues or releasing clay pigeons, Serena enjoyed connecting with new and old friends in the industry, including one new friend, Juan Martinez Jr. with Owen-Ames-Kimball, who suffered an ankle injury earlier this year (pictured here).

Proceeds from the Clay Shoot are donated to the Construction Education Foundation to support the Careers in Construction High School program, and Construction Management scholarship funds and student recruitment efforts at the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, Mesa State University, the Colorado School of Mines, and the Construction Education Foundation.
