In July, John Bolmer, Lance Shurtleff, Michael Paul, and Mark Ratner collaborated to prepare summaries of the law on reporting requirements in claims against accountants for the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Iowa, and Michigan. The summaries will be included in a 50-state compendium being published by the Professional Liability Defense Federation (“PLDF”). The PLDF is a nationwide association of professional liability defense professionals. Its mission is to enhance the stature and effectiveness of those professionals through education, training, and exchange of information.
