Kristan E. Lehtinen

For the last two decades, Kristan Lehtinen’s practice has focused on medical malpractice defense and business law litigation in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ms. Lehtinen represents a broad range of clients, from local businesses to national and international companies and insurance carriers with interests in Las Vegas. She has significant experience in contractual and litigation matters before both state and federal courts in Nevada, as well as various venues before administrative and regulatory agencies. In addition to business litigation, Ms. Lehtinen’s diverse knowledge and skill encompasses insurance defense litigation, medical malpractice, real estate, and regulatory matters. She is also a court appointed arbitrator under the Eighth Judicial District Court Annexed Arbitration Program.

Yuliya Brady

Counsel

Yuliya Brady practices civil litigation with a focus on the defense of professional negligence and medical malpractice claims. She represents doctors, nurses, nursing homes, hospices, and urgent care centers across State and Federal courts in Nevada. Yuliya is also experienced in general liability, premises liability, and administrative law.

Before joining Hall & Evans, Yuliya practiced civil litigation and served as Deputy District Attorney in Lyon County, Nevada. During her time at the DA’s office, Yuliya handled various matters, including civil and criminal cases, open meeting law issues, code amendments, guardianships, juvenile cases, child support, and drug court. While practicing law, Yuliya completed her LLM degree in Gaming Law and Regulation from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law.

While earning her JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Yuliya received numerous academic awards including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence, and the Jefferson Medal. She also interned with the Superior Court for the County of San Diego, CA, and was a research assistant and learning assistant at her law school.

Nadia H. Patrick

Member

Nadia Patrick is a trial lawyer with experience in litigating complex cases at the state and federal levels. She focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis in catastrophic casualty, transportation law (including trucking and railroad defense), employment law, and toxic tort defense. Her unique experience allows her to help employers navigate workplace accidents, regulatory inspections, personal liability investigations, and crisis management and prevention. Nadia represents Fortune 500 companies in the transportation and medical sectors, and has significant experience representing insurance clients in high-value personal injury cases.

Nadia began her career litigating cases on behalf of the U.S. Department of Labor and was able to hone her skills as a litigator by trying numerous cases on behalf of the Secretary of Labor. She went on to work for the Colorado Office of the Attorney General, where she represented the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) and assisted with drafting some of the first retail marijuana regulations in the nation.

Austin D. Huff

Associate

Austin Huff concentrates his practice in construction and design, real estate, land and mineral rights, and regulatory law.  He represents clients in state in federal courts across Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho, as well as on appeal at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Huff recently relocated from Idaho where he represented individuals and small businesses in a wide variety of consumer law disputes. Previously, he was an attorney with the Wyoming Public Service Commission where he ensured multi-state utility companies abided by relevant statutory and regulatory mandates, worked to resolve disputes, and advised appointed commissioners.

Mr. Huff earned his JD from the University of Wyoming College of Law while also earning a Master’s in Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming Haub School.  While in law school, Mr. Huff was named to the Dean’s List and he received the Ellbogen International Human Rights Law Scholarship that funded an internship at an human rights organization in Cambodia.  He also worked as an intern with the Department of Interior Solicitor’s office in Denver, Colorado, and was a student attorney with the University of Wyoming’s Natural Resources Clinic and Human Rights Clinic.

Erin E. Snow

Counsel

Erin Snow focuses on Colorado’s government affairs and regulatory issues important to her clients.  With over a decade of legislative experience, Ms. Snow provides counsel to a wide variety of businesses, nonprofits, and insurers before the Colorado General Assembly and the Division of Insurance.

Before joining Hall & Evans, Ms. Snow was an elected leadership development coach and education policy program leader for a non-profit supporting a national network of civic leaders to end educational inequity.  Previously, she served as Legislative Counsel for U.S. Representative Beto O’Rourke, where she advised on veterans’ affairs, education, voting rights, campaign finance, and immigration.  As Staff Director for the U.S. House of Representatives Veterans’ Affairs Economic Opportunity Subcommittee, she drafted and managed legislative priorities at the federal level and oversaw VA and Department of Labor programs. Locally, Ms. Snow served as Policy Director for a former Colorado Senator and congressional candidate, a Consultant for the Colorado Department of Education & Donnell-Kay Foundation, and a Legal Fellow for a Colorado Senator. Before going to law school, she taught 7th grade English in Los Angeles, California as a Teach For America corps member.
