Gina M. Rossi

Gina Rossi is a trial lawyer with a diverse civil litigation practice that includes transportation, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic injury claims, hospitality & retail, recreation, construction & design and professional liability. Her personal injury experience is broad, and most recently includes representing national railroad companies facing claims involving the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA), as well as other entities and individuals involved in the practice areas noted. Representative clients include construction related entities, property management companies, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, physicians, railroads, trucking companies, and individuals facing licensing matters with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. Gina has experience in all phases of litigation, from the immediate investigation of catastrophic incidents through trial and appeal. 

Gina previously worked for Johnson & Bell, Ltd. and the Chicago Transit Authority in Chicago, Illinois. Since moving to Denver from Chicago, Gina has obtained defense verdicts in several cases with seven-figure pretrial demands. She also married her college sweetheart, become a mother to two adorable daughters, and is enjoying life with her family in Colorado.

Recently, Gina completed a DU Professional Mediation Training course. Having participated in hundreds of mediations in her career, and seeing how the right or wrong mediator can impact resolution, Gina felt it was time to expand her practice into the role of a mediator. With over 35 years of experience handling civil litigation matters, Craig Sargent’s litigation practice includes medical cases involving malpractice defense, medical practice management, and drug and medical device litigation. Throughout his career, Craig has represented healthcare providers from virtually all medical and surgical specialties, psychologists/psychiatrists, nurses, and other ancillary and physician extenders in professional negligence cases and in licensing and disciplinary proceedings. Craig has served as a Hearing Officer in hospital credentialing matters including all aspects of pre-hearing discovery, pre-hearing evidentiary and legal issues, presiding over credentialing hearings, and post-hearing matters. Craig also handles business and commercial litigation, trucking accident litigation, and catastrophic injury cases. He has experience in breach of contract, insurance bad faith, general insurance defense, and construction litigation.

Of Counsel

Mr. Murray practices as a civil litigator. He has extensive experience in the field of insurance defense litigation but concentrates his practice on the defense of professional liability claims. He has defended many physicians, dentists, hospitals, nurses, and other health care providers in malpractice lawsuits. He has defended hospitals in actions involving physicians objecting to the modification or revocation of their staff privileges, and has represented physicians and nurses in administrative proceedings before regulatory boards.

His practice is diversified. For example, he defended one of the nation’s largest oil companies in an action by landowners claiming they suffered injuries and damages as a result of groundwater contamination. He also defended a general contractor in actions by property owners alleging negligence in the design, construction, and maintenance of a large apartment complex.
