Aaron J. Thompson


Aaron Thompson is a civil litigator with a practice centered around employment, labor, and public entity matters.  Mr. Thompson represents clients in matters that involve Equal Opportunity and Discrimination laws including ADA, ADEA, Title VII, and FMLA.  He regularly assists employers with drafting and defending non-compete clauses, updating employee handbooks, and performing wage and hour audits.  Mr. Thompson’s experience also includes cases relating to data privacy, breach of contract, various business torts, and securities law issues.

While attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Mr. Thompson was a Charles F. Brannan Scholar, received a Clinical Practice Award, and was a Founding Member and Editor of the Criminal Law Review.  He also served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Nancy Lichtenstein with the Colorado Court of Appeals and as a Judicial Fellow for the Honorable Brian D. Boatright with the Colorado Supreme Court.
