Colin J. Finnegan


​Colin Finnegan’s life-long desire to practice law has cultivated him into a  passionate and driven attorney who rigorously represents and defends his clients.  Mr. Finnegan handles matters involving transportation, premises liability, employment law, administrative and regulatory law, and construction law.  He represents clients across state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri. 

While attending the University of Kansas School of Law, Mr. Finnegan was a summer associate at the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and a law clerk for the Disability Rights Center of Kansas.  Prior to joining Hall & Evans, Mr. Finnegan worked as an associate attorney at a top insurance defense firm in the Kansas City Metro Area.  Upon graduation, Mr. Finnegan was awarded the James P. Mize Trial Advocacy Award which is given to the student who shows outstanding promise as a trial advocate.  He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy and Advanced Litigation.  Mr. Finnegan currently assists with the coaching of KU Law’s Mock Trial Team.  In 2016, Mr. Finnegan graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
