Dan Rosenberg

Special Counsel

Dan Rosenberg has a diverse practice and is a member of several Hall & Evan’s practice groups, including Transportation, Regulatory, Construction, Employment, Professional Liability, and Premises Liability. Dan’s practice focuses on representing clients in actions brought by federal, state, and local government against individuals and businesses. Dan has over a decade of experience working for the government, primarily serving as a Deputy District Attorney in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Denver Counties. This government service provides Dan with a unique insight into the thought process of the government that is invaluable to his clients facing governmental administrative, civil, and criminal actions. Dan has defended citizens, and businesses, both local and publicly traded, in actions from the Government. A sample of the actions Dan has defended his clients on include: HUD, EEOC, Criminal violations of the Food and Drug Act, Building Code Violation, actions against professional and business licenses (Medical, Dental, Physical Therapy, Psychology, and Therapy), Department of Transportation investigations, and Open Records Act Requests.

In addition to his knowledge of government workings, Dan brings vast trial experience rarely seen among civil lawyers. He has tried over 50 cases to verdict. The cases he tried and prosecuted include some of the most complex an attorney can handle including, First Degree Murder and Crimes Against Children. Dan uses this trial experience in defense of his clients. As a sample, Dan has defended cases for businesses ranging from publicly owned entities to family owned operations in a variety of legal fields. As a transportation lawyer, Dan has handled the most serious wrongful death actions brought against commercial carriers. As an employment lawyer, Dan has defended clients from allegations of discrimination based upon race, sex, and disability, as well as allegations of violations of the FLSA. As a real estate attorney, Dan has defended and prosecuted cases involving breach of lease, adverse possession, and quiet title. Finally, as a construction attorney Dan has defended allegations of negligent construction and design as well as allegations of violations of OSHA.
