Ike Eckert is an experienced litigator with an emphasis on complex commercial and construction disputes. Mr. Eckert has represented a broad range of construction professionals during the course of his career, including owners/developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers in state and federal court and arbitration. Mr. Eckert has also represented engineering and design professionals for professional liability before licensing boards. In addition to commercial and construction litigation, Mr. Eckert’s practice spans into general insurance defense, including general contract disputes, personal injury defense, automobile accidents, premises liability, toxic torts, and governmental entity defense.

His valuable and unique perspective on law, influenced by his background as a legislative aide in the Nebraska State Legislature, allows him to appreciate the nuances present in laws, ordinances, and codes. This perspective helps him advise clients accordingly with pragmatic and economical solutions.  Mr. Eckert prides himself on his ability to quickly evaluate complex legal solutions and provide clients with results that minimize a client’s legal costs and time in the often drawn-out litigation process.

Mr. Eckert currently serves as Legislative Director for the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and is on the Attorney Advisory Panel of the Colorado Civil Justice League.
