J.J. Kashnow

Paralegal

J.J. Kashnow has over 30 years of experience in the legal industry. Ms. Kashnow is responsible for requesting and preparing all discovery for production, to include analysis of documents and records received, preparation of medical chronologies and specials charts, as well as drafting correspondence, pleadings, disclosures, and overall trial preparation. Ms. Kashnow also manages the medical malpractice defense cases for her department.

Ms. Kashnow began her career in the legal industry at a litigation support service company where she served as the document coordinator for a large-scale litigation stemming from a rocket fuel plant explosion. In that role she bate-stamped, indexed, housed, and distributed all discovery documents to the subrogation committee for that litigation. From there, she went on to work at her first law firm, for a now retired Judge, and then at the Office of the Attorney General in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. After moving back into the private sector, Ms. Kashnow found her passion for medical malpractice defense and gained her extensive trial experience when she began working as a paralegal for a busy defense firm which served as counsel for every insurance company who wrote medical malpractice liability insurance in the State of Nevada, which she continued to do for nearly 18 years. Since then, she has continued to work as a paralegal at several law firms in Las Vegas, Nevada and Seattle, Washington.
