Kevin D. Poyner

Special Counsel

Kevin Poyner’s practice is concentrated in the areas of complex commercial litigation, construction and design related disputes, and appeals.  Mr. Poyner represents design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, and property owners in mediation, arbitration, before administrative agencies, and in State and Federal trial and appellate courts.  He counsels clients through pre-claim process to perfect claims and minimize potential exposure.

Before his career in private practice, Mr. Poyner was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice Warren E. Jones of the Idaho Supreme Court.  Mr. Poyner received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and was admitted into the Order of St. Ives.  While earning his law degree, he was the General Editor for the Denver University Law Review and a Research Assistant to Professor Arnow-Richman.
