Matthew Martinez’s practice focuses on workers’ compensation. He represents employers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators across Colorado and New Mexico. Mr. Martinez recently relocated from Albuquerque, New Mexico where he focused on creditors’ rights litigation.

Mr. Martinez earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where he was Associate Editor of the Colorado Technical Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Martinez clerked for the Honorable Judge Cindy Leos in New Mexico’s Second Judicial District Court and clerked at a creditors’ rights firm. He also volunteered with ActivateNM, where he assisted with workshops focusing on the legal needs of small businesses and startups. In 2016, Mr. Martinez graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico, where he received two bachelor’s degrees in Biology and English.
